Who
is Cheryl Lacey Donovan?
Cheryl
Donovan is the daughter of the King. She is more than a
conqueror through Jesus Christ. She walks by faith, not by
sight. She is blessed and highly favored but most importantly,
she is a lover of God.
What
are some of the things that you do to promote your mission to
“Challenge you to look inside yourself for change, to identify
the strongholds in your life, and to tear them down with the
help of the creator”?
Getting
people to look inside themselves for change can be challenging
because often, we are reluctant to acknowledge that we are
ultimately responsible for the circumstances in our lives,
whether good or bad. Therefore, I try to be very forthcoming
about my life and those situations that I initially allowed to
keep me from walking in my destiny. My books, CD’s, blogs, and
speaking presentations identify the common strongholds we all
face. I then walk individuals through how my developing an
intimate relationship with God as well as an understanding of
how He viewed me as a way for tearing down those strongholds and
moving into your destiny. Many people call it many different
things these days, but I call it “God’s divine
providence.”
When
did your destiny reveal itself to you?
The Bible
says that “God’s plans for your life, are plans of good and
not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.” I’ve always
had an idea that God had great plans for my life, but they did
not manifest themselves until 3 years ago when I began to see
how the pieces of my life fit together to bring me to this point
in my life. You know, when you’re in the midst of trying
times, you really don’t understand God’s providence, but
when you look back, it all makes sense.
Where
do you want to go next in your spiritual endeavors?
My plan is
to spread the message to women all over the world that God cares
for them and He can deliver them. I want to go wherever God
leads me. He’s in total control of my destiny.
Why
do you feel such a calling to give of yourself and to affect
positive change in others?
This
calling is so strong because I know what God says about me and I
live it and see it in my daily life. God says the same thing
about all of His children and I want them to know it, so they
too, can walk in their destinies.
How
can one equip herself with the mindset to refresh others, thusly
refreshing herself?
Transparency
is the key. People don’t care what you know unless they know
how much you care. Being willing to share yourself, valley to
mountaintop, and the experiences with others is not only
empowering and inspiring for them, but its also a way for you as
you remember God’s awesomeness in your life.
